A question tag is a mini-question used in spoken English. It’s a question added at the end of a sentence. Speakers use Question Tags / Tag questions chiefly to make sure their information is correct or to seek agreement. يضاف هذا السؤال في آخر الجملة في لغة الكلام بغرض التأكيد من صحة المعلومات أو الحصول على الموافقة0 qملاحظة: 1.يجب أن يكون السؤال مختصر 2.عندما تكون الجملة مثبتة والسؤال منفي تكون الإجابة المتوقعة مثبتة0 3.عندما تكون الجملة منفية والسؤال مثبت تكون الإجابة المتوقعة منفية0 4.تكون نبرة الصوت مرتفعة عندما نكون غير متأكدين جداً من الإجابة0 5.تكون نبرة الصوت منخفضة عندما نكون متأكدين جداً من الإجابة0
Form:
A) Affirmative Statement, Negative Tag. إذا كانت الجملة الخبرية مثبتة يكون السؤال منفياً
·Ahmed is here, isn’t he? Yes, he is.
·It was an interesting story, wasn’t it? Yes, it was.
·Ali likes milk, doesn’t he? Yes, he does.
·They left early, didn’t they? Yes, they did.
·You’ll be on holiday next week, won’t you? Yes, I will
